Of course, the food was a hit (sometimes three platefuls); talking to the counselors about his computer and phone, and what they were learning at college and what they like to do; robotics; “geocaching” activity; playing Mafia; museum; zip lining; stargazing with the sight of Saturn; coding activity where his team got all the codes across; rocket launches; keeping a container cool; Skyping a math professor from BJU and a Christian astronaut who had been in space for 178 days and 4 space walks; cracking the code (something he talks about even before camp starts); Big Bone Lick; a good new restaurant; ice cream (for cracking the code); beating the record time with drone flying through the hoops at different positions; a space game; water filtration; timing of launch projects and bridge building...
S has mentioned over and over again how much he hopes he can go back again next year. He rarely takes his Ci t-shirt off (good thing I bought him a second one!) and raves about the activities he got to do, especially the engineering ones. Summer of 2018 can’t come fast enough in his mind!
