Ci 2.0 Fall Camps

We conducted our first Fall camps last month, running a Ci Mini: Conflicting Worldviews Camp and a Ci Mobile: Robotics 101 Adventure Camp. Both of these camps were very well received as confirmed by the data we received from the post event surveys. Both of these camps provide our team with excellent ways to extend the mission of Ci during the school year, also exposing our unprecedented summer program to more young people. We believe it will help us identify those young people for whom Ci is a strong fit, as we are not your typical summer youth camp. Our purpose is to inspire young people to discover wonder and amazement in everything they see in the world around them and teach them to face each day with an insatiable curiosity that drives them into a closer relationship with the Infinite One who created it all. Ci Mini: Conflicting Worldviews

Ci Robotics 101 Adventure - 10 hours designed to challenge the mind and engage the heart on creation & theology of technology Here is an overview of the topics we cover:

• biblical foundation


• what is STEM?


• what is robotics


• benefits of learning STEM with robotics


• getting started with Lego Mindstorm EV3


• building


• programming (what is software?)


• projects - teamwork (STEM)

A couple of robotics "geeks" enjoy being creative, a human activity which comes from our being made in the Creator's image

Robotics is an excellent STEM activity which transcends gender

Cool to see which campers have a bent toward building and which ones enjoy programming - both skills are needed in this STEM rich activity



Ci 2.0 Summer Camps

• May 20-22  Conflicting Worldviews Camp for College age


• June 24-26 STEM & Apologetics Day Camp for Grades 7-12


• July 5-11    STEM & Apologetics 7-Day Camp for Grades 7-12


• July 13-17  STEM & Apologetics 5-Day Camp for Grades 7-12

We are accepting applications now for each camp. There is no deposit required until a camper is accepted and invited to register. We are finalizing the pricing and scholarship details for each camp over the next few weeks. We will release the details for each camp as they become available. To apply and select your week of camp simply fill out our application(http://www.campinfinity.com/apply/camper/). We are also creating a Ci 2.0 scholarship program to allow campers to earn part of their tuition by performing various Ci related tasks that will:

1. better prepare a camper for their Ci 2.0 experience


2. help us promote Ci 2.0 to help keep the investment cost down for each family

• We had the privilege of connecting Bob Jones University's new president, Steve Pettit, with Ken Ham and the Creation Museum


• PRAYER REQUEST: wisdom as we determine pricing & scholarship ideas for Ci 2.0 Summer Camps

We are excited to be working on a 6-year curriculum that will engage a young person from 7th thru 12th grade, preparing them to pursue their higher education and become modern day Daniels who are competent to stand before the kings of their culture and proclaim God's Truth and point them to Jesus Christ!
