STEM Jobs in Demand

Every parent wants to prepare their children for life after schooling. Did you know that STEM jobs represent the most in demand jobs in America?

One of the most challenging, not to mention, rewarding roles we have as parents is to help our children see how they may use their talents and gifts for service in God’s Kingdom.

Recently, as I was preparing a talk for a Christian school state teacher's conference, I came across this graphic which stated that for every 1 unemployed person, there are 1.7 STEM-related jobs available (Conversely, in the area of non-STEM jobs, there are 4.1 unemployed persons for every job). While I was aware the demand for STEM employees was growing, I hadn't realized the extent to which it has grown.

STEM vs non-STEM jobs

Bottom line - there is much job security for those prepared in science, technology, engineering & math. By STEM we do NOT mean just any one of those disciplines. STEM education prepares one to know how to work together in a team environment to solve really tough problems - ones that can only be cracked with the synergistic efforts of a scientist & technologist & engineer & mathematician.

That’s really the reason Camp Infinity exists! By attending one of our camps, your child will be able to “test drive” several areas where their skills and abilities can be matched with future career options in the area of STEM. Getting focus and clarity at Camp Infinity seems like a drop-in-bucket financially when you consider that the current cost for a quality STEM-related degree can run as high as $100-120K!

Camp Infinity exists to inspire students to explore how science and technology integrate with a creation apologetics worldview, so that they are prepared to explain and defend their faith and succeed in their STEM education and future careers. We invite you to learn more and apply for one our Ci 3.0 (summer 2016) camps on our website!
