Thankfulness and Trust

Trust and thankfulness seem to go together in the Christian life. As a camp director I recognize my need to depend upon God in order to have a camp that will impact not just the heads but the hearts of our campers.

Each year I trust God to bring together what He wants for a successful camp–people, program, place. It's an exciting process to be part of as we see how he connects us with counselors, teachers, a program manager and most of all campers.

I am thankful for the team He has selected. We start our training camp this Sunday evening. It'll be the first time the entire team comes together. They are extra excited because we're getting to stay right across the street from Ark Encounter

I'm thankful for the program the team is put to gather. Space Exploration will give us some exciting hands on activities as well as the opportunity to discuss some challenging apologetics issues from a biblical worldview.

I'm thankful for the campers that have registered so far. Trusting God to bring some more as we still have room especially in weeks two and three of our overnight camp

Finally I'm trusting God to work in the hearts of the team members and campers. Our mission is to inspire students to explore how science and technology integrate with a creation apologetics worldview, preparing them to explain and defend their faith and succeed in their STEM education and in their future careers.
