We love hearing stories from campers and their parents about how God is using Camp Infinity in their lives. It’s such an encouragement to us and we hope it’s an encouragement to other parents and our faithful supporters. I recently heard from one mom who said this:
The first Ci publication arrived after we had been on a long trip. Cade had a stack of mail to open and the Ci publication was in that stack. He opened it and never said a word to me, just left it on the counter. He can be a bit shy about these things, but I could tell from the smile on his face and the glow in his eye that he thought it was pretty cool.
We have been so blessed by the camp and by the investment of time you give to our kids. For Cade in particular, and for every other kid out there, it’s important they learn things shrouded in truth. Everywhere they go and most of the books they read directly defy the word of God and everything we believe is true. It’s such a blessing for us to have him in an environment where he can grow in knowledge and we feel completely comfortable with the knowledge he is getting. He is a kid who is ravenous for learning. We love that your ministry meets a need for gifted kids in particular, to grow in truth.
We’re blessed that God has given us the opportunity to pour into the lives of academically-curious young people. As this mom said, it’s so important that these future scientists, researchers, and engineers be grounded in the truth of God’s Word. They need to learn what God’s Word says and how to think biblically so they can separate truth from error—because there’s a lot of error out there!
At Ci we show that it’s not a battle over the evidence—science vs. the Bible—as some people think. It’s a battle between two worldviews. Will you start with man’s opinion or God’s Word? We encourage young people to start with God’s Word in all areas and teach them to defend their faith while they enjoy hands-on STEM activities.
