• Amazon STEM Club. The Amazon STEM club sends a high-quality STEM toy to your home each month. These toys are hands-on and designed for fun and to spark interest in scientific exploration. Available in three different age categories for $19.99 a month.

• LEGO Boost. This innovative new LEGO kit allows you to build one of five robots and then program it with your tablet. This is a great way to get kids started in programming and robotics using something familiar—LEGO. Retails on Amazon for $159.95.

• Snap Circuits Jr. Learn all about electronics with this fun snap circuits kit. The pieces snap together in over 100 configurations teaching your child about electric currents as they design and build their own. This is the beginner kit with other kits available. It retails for $19.99 on Amazon.

• GoldieBlox. This construction toy and storybook set features a girl who loves engineering. Designed for ages 4 and up and with girls in mind, this toy is fun to build and play with. Various sets are available with the original set retailing for $39.90.
