How You Can Help Ci

A little over 20 years ago (1995), while I was teaching computer science at Bob Jones University, I met the father of one of my freshman students. This father’s name was Ken Ham and that year he founded the ministry of Answers in Genesis, now the world’s leading creation apologetics ministry.

I would very quickly come to learn Ken’s passion was twofold:

Teaching others about the authority of God’s Word, especially as it pertains to history and science,
And educating parents on the importance of leaving a godly legacy.

I was greatly influenced by both of those passions, so much so that I eventually decided to retire from teaching college to start Camp Infinity so that I could teach young people apologetics and the importance of biblical authority and a biblical worldview.

Until that time God had richly blessed me and my family financially. I was a 50% owner of a growing software company. It was a dream come true for a college professor since I was hiring some of my computer science and MBA graduates. After starting Ci, I left the software business. My life shifted from experiencing the incredible blessings found in giving to gospel ministries, to experiencing the blessing of receiving those financial gifts as believers have given generously to supply scholarships for campers.

It has been a great joy to see how God sends in scholarship funds for those families who need it. These funds allow their children to have a unique faith-building experience which equips them to have answers to defend their faith, especially as it relates to science.
